Our mission is to open a transition house for people who have been incarcerated and need a safe place to continue on a path to self-sufficiency, reentry into society. This is one way that we can fulfill our mission of “being committed to providing housing and resources which sustains and improves the health of individuals in the communities we service, with special attention to individuals on the road to independent living.
St. Paul has a large number of individuals who are in a treatment program and seeking continued care like social, educational and stable housing. Many of these individuals have socioeconomic situations that lead to recidivism and relapse. Another feature would be counseling, job training resources, and other community resources to aid the individuals in adaptation of a self-sufficient lifestyle.
